8.27.25: total blue's self-titled album. feels like music you would have heard for computer ads in the 90s in the best possible way. feels like proto-frutiger aero.

8.19.25: dry drunk by street sects & FULL COLOR ECLIPSE by their sister project, STREET SEX. so glad they're making new stuff!

8.13.25: soliloquy for lilith by nurse with wound.

8.5.25: midnight radio by bohren & der club of gore. moody dark jazz. perfect atmosphere.

7.28.25: closer and closer apart by pleasure symbols. extremely ethereal & moody.

7.10.25: contra by paranormales. spanish boy harsher with an even colder vibe.

6.25.25: the fragile by nine inch nails. i went to a coffee shop one morning and they were playing it top to bottom so naturally i had to go listen to it all the way through again. my favorite NIN.

6.6.25: the nephilim by fields of the nephilim. this is their best album imo.

5.29.25: i have two! end position by street sects & the great annihilator by SWANS.

5.9.25: pirouette by model/actriz. really nice follow-up to dogsbody

5.3.25: heaven is waiting by the danse society. love the title track especially

4.9.25: db9d9's self-titled album. god i love industrial.

3.20.25: remnants of the vessel by faetooth. self-proclaimed 'fairy doom' and it fits them perfectly. extremely heavy but very pretty metal.

3.11.25: omnipresent by hate dept..

2.15.25: horse rotorvator by coil. man where has this album been my whole life. why did it take me so long to get into coil??

2.6.25: an overture by youth code. gritty industrial from the 2010s. skinny puppy-esque but a bit darker in feel.

1.24.25: harmonic disruptor by julien-k.

12.23.24: deathconsciousness by have a nice life. idk, if you know you know. just go listen to it all the way through if you haven't yet!

12.16.24: dogsbody by model/actriz. dance post-punk noise rock. and awesome.

12.4.24: east side militia by chemlab. back to 90s industrial, always.

11.22.24: without you i'm nothing by placebo. i didn't get into placebo until a few years ago but this album always feels like 'coming home' to me.

11.11.24: walking wounded by everything but the girl. proto-trip hop dnb with vocals. like a more pop-adjacent portishead. the first track before today is especially lovely.

10.23.24: AEnima by tool. i'm pretty late to checking out their discography but they're really good. shocker. lol

10.14.24: atrocious virgin by trance to the sun. ethereal goth with a shoegaze drony pitch. amazing stuff

9.27.24: priestess by butterfly messiah. super underrated goth-y album.

9.11.24: add violence EP by nine inch nails. shoutout specifically to the last track the background world. "are you sure? (this is what you want?)"

9.6.24: passion's price by diva destruction.

8.7.24: life is killing me by type o negative. also this song from the .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND trailer

7.29.24: tortuosa by delphine coma AND oracion funebre's demo 2024 album. yay goth!

6.18.24: mingkurray's indoor cigarettes volumes. honestly i haven't been listening to much music lately

4.29.24: challengers (2024) soundtrack. i liked the movie but the score elevated it like no other. thank you NIN

4.23.24: les miserables soundtrack. yeah that's right we like musicals here too

3.25.24: ketamine girl by akiaura x LONOWN. crystal castles fans come get y'alls juice

2.29.24: hybrid theory by linkin park. this album will always go hard idec. rip chester

2.13.24: RAT WARS by HEALTH. godddd this album rocks, especially when listening chronologically. the transition of hateful into (of all else) is incredible.

1.24.24: plastic death by glass beach. no idea what genre this is but it rocks

12.28.23: urchin's self-titled album. fun trip hop-y massive attack-esque album.

12.26.23: bowery electric's self-titled album.

12.13.23: kindred by burial. been on a real future garage kick lately
