documenting my last.fm playbacks (and spotify wrappeds)

i really like the end-of-the-year music analyses things all these music services do. it's fun to see what they think your listening habits were like. thus, i figured i might as well document them here for my enjoyment (and likely future embarrassment). (note to self: img height is 700 px)

2025 playback. first whole year using lastfm scrobbles only to record my listening habits! i wish that the summary this year showed your top albums and tracks, as you can see i had to take addtl screenshots for the top 5 of each addtl section. i don't really know why last.fm did this layout for their playback this year, it kind of sucks, especially since all my top artists seem to have grayscale pictures so it's hard to tell who is who, especially the pictures they used for HEALTH and street sects (no model/actriz pic?).

my top 5 artists aren't really surprising, nor are my top 5 albums. my top 5 tracks, however, are. apparently this was the year of sonic frontiers and also deathconsciousness for me? i can be your angle or yuor devil energy. i listened to a lot less music overall this year, probably due to the inconvenience of 'listening' as created by relying on wired earbuds (not that i'm complaining though, the audio quality trade-off is worth it and overall makes my listening habits much deeper than they were prior to using my LGV30)

2024 playback. this year was the year i stopped streaming music, but i did that halfway through the year, so i was curious how my wrapped and last.fm playback would differ. i'd say the playback is more accurate. i listened to RAT WARS a lot that's for sure.
2024 wrapped. i do NOT listen to the garden this much LOL. no hate against the garden, they're very good, but there's no way i listened to them more than NIN.
2023. finally, no video game music in my top 5. ricky montgomery's line without a hook really did a number on me but--and you'll never guess it--it's because i associate the song heavily with silent hill 2 lol. i saw the cure this year so i was reliving that concert a lot i think.
2022. my akira yamaoka obsession was still going strong but i played devil may cry and shadowbringers this year too, so...
2021. this was the year i swapped to spotify from apple music and also the year i played all the silent hills for the first time.
