i use backloggd too so i might forget to log smth here!

11.3.2024: finished MISERICORDE VOLUME 1 (steam). i really loved this, the music was amazing. feels less the murder mystery it claims to be, but slice of life following nuns in the aftermath of one of their sisters' murder in the 1400s is an interesting enough premise for me to have felt totally enthralled by it. excited for the rest of it, hopefully it doesn't take too long for the other volumes to come out.

*** also, i've been spending time in WEBFISHING and YUME NIKKI ONLINE again and it's fun to imagine i might cross paths with anyone who checks out my website.

10.25.2024: started and finished YOUR WINGS, MY WINGS (itch.io). y2k futurism yuri kinetic novel. the art is lovely in its ms paint impressionism with crayons vibe, and the music is also really nice. read it with my cup of morning coffee while i clicked through my work emails, and that felt like a suitable way to spend the morning.

*** also read and finished RAMIEL (itch.io), an interactive fiction piece about plurality, being trans, and body dysphoria+dysmorphia. another short read, but a really great use of interactive fiction by the creator to notate these feelings and put them somewhere. this is a piece that can't be anything other than deeply personal to its author, so i commend them for that.

10.23.2024: started and finished CHIRK (itch.io). interesting free kinetic novel. writing is beautiful but feels unedited and sort of sloppy in its presentation. good if you like stories about dead-end suburbia and lonely kinds of love. drippy halogenic bleakness.

10.22.2024: started and finished MOUTHWASHING (steam). i liked this for its narrative more than its gameplay. capitalism horror driving bad people to do even worse things. a game that will make you feel disgusted to play.

10.10.2024: finished the SILENT HILL 2 REMAKE (steam). loved this so so so much. since i'm backfilling this i talked about it more in my microblog and won't bother encapsulating my thoughts here again. but this was so good from start to finish.
